They're Banned, I Tell You!

Hey, kids and kittens! It's Banned Books Week. Here's a small list of banned books (trust me, there are many, many more):

If you research banned books, you'll see that many popular books that you've read have either been banned or challenged. Some books, like The Giver and  To Kill a Mockingbird are even books that you read as a part of your curriculum in school. So what makes a book banned or challenged? How did the idea of banning books start, and why are we celebrating it now? These are the questions you need to find out. And while you're at it, tell me a couple of your favorite banned books and why they're your favs.
